ALEX PLUMLEY GARDEN DESIGN
Microcement & Copper Wall
Inspired by a trip to Seville, this Brighton town house courtyard garden explores a more architectural palette of materials while remaining practical for everyday use. Curved microcement planters define the space and double as informal bench seating, making the most of the compact courtyard garden layout. A copper-clad feature wall adds warmth and texture, drawing on the use of copper elements seen in gardens and architecture throughout southern Spain. Designed closely around the clients’ brief, the result is a contemporary courtyard garden perfectly suited to town house living in Brighton.
