Bespoke garden design & build across Sussex & Brighton

Based in Haywards Heath, we design and build gardens throughout Mid Sussex, across West and East Sussex, and down to Brighton & Hove. Being local means we understand the ground we work in — the High Weald's heavy clay, the coastal conditions nearer Brighton, and the mix of period and contemporary homes across the county — and we design gardens that belong to their setting.
Haywards Heath — our home town, and the heart of what we do. We design and build for homes right across the town and its surrounding lanes and villages.
Cuckfield — a historic village where gardens need to sit sympathetically alongside period and listed properties, with planting and materials chosen to suit.
Lindfield — characterful homes along one of Sussex's prettiest high streets; we create gardens in keeping with their heritage while working beautifully for modern life.
Burgess Hill — from established family homes to new-build plots, practical, generous gardens designed around how families actually use their outdoor space.

Our Portfolio.

Barn Conversion

This contemporary garden was designed to be in keeping with the contemporary style of the barn. A very large courtyard, broken up into sections for entertaining, with a large bespoke water feature.
Hassocks Garden

We installed a plunge pool with a current, an outside fire place, a sunken hot tub and various areas for dinning and lounging areas. We also added an outdoor kitchen.
Rural Staplefield

This garden project consisted of a roof terrace, with a table tennis area, decking, a fire pit coffee table and water feature. We installed a large pool with sun deck facing the beautiful views across the countryside. Multiple terraces, 2 bespoke pergolas, a large outdoor kitchen, a vegetable garden, grey brickette paths, a shady tree fern patio, 2 large corten steel ribbons and lots of topiary and a lovely woven fence for privacy.
Brighton Garden

A garden build with microcement and a copper feature wall, creating a unique and elegant garden. The raised planters are bench height, creating division between areas and additional seating.
Fox Hill Garden

A large, sociable family, we created an outside studio for extra accommodation, a bespoke pergola and fire place, clay paver paths to break up the limestone paving an outdoor kitchen as well as a fire gas fire pit on the drinks terrace.
Rural Cuckfield

A large country garden in Cuckfield, we created a courtyard with multi seating areas with lots of planting, a rustic bar and bench and mown paths with wildflower turf in the field. We added a large circular games lawn, surrounded by planting and a veg garden.
Haywards Heath Garden

This client wanted a low maintenance garden that looks striking from within their kitchen. We added raised, rendered planters to lift the plants behind their cube spa and sofa area. We created a feature wall to help frame the large, gnarly Olive tree. We designed the fencing to change direction to add additional weight to this focal point. Finally we added a small built in BBQ and dinning area.
Balcombe - Steep Slope

A garden with a beautiful view but a steep drop into the garden. Here we added for large corten steel sliced beds to take the slope and a small corten steel bridge linking the main terrace to a path.
Old Cottage

An old cottage being renovated and a contemporary extension was added. The planting needed to have a modern but traditional feel.
Long & Shady

A long and shady garden in Cuckfield. Drainage was added to the lawn as it was always wet. The bed against the fence got the only sun so we added a lot of perennials of different heights. Built in seating to house cushions for the seats and a multi stem Amelanchier lamarckii to help create sections within the garden.
Large Town Garden

A professional couple who like entertaining wanted a dinning terrace and a bespoke pergola to give privacy from their neighbours.
Sunken Terrace

We made the most of the sloped garden to add in a sunken terrace, surrounded by large tree ferns.
Brighton - Courtyard

A small and shady Brighton courtyard. We retained 2 large trees, protecting they base using the raised corten planter which allowed for some build in benches.
Cuckfield Garden

A large village garden with an unusual shape. We created curved paths around 2 large circular lawns with corten steel steps.
Small Village Garden

Herbs interspersed with planting. Creeping thyme planted in the shingle gabs in the paving.
East Grinstead

A beautiful house and garden. We added water feature, sauna and ice bath, various seating areas, floating benches, a beautiful stone bench and stunning furniture throughout this garden. At the front we updated the planting, added a central island to prevent parking up to the front door, we also added parking bays to help guide visitors where to park.
More Micro Cement

A small sloped garden in Haywards Heath. We used the slope to create another sunken terrace. Adding micro cement for a more contemporary vibe.
